An environmental engineering major who loves animals, nature, yoga, and science. She grew up in Chester County, PA, and when she isn't in class or studying she's playing music, hanging out with friends, or drawing. She is a part of Drexel's Society of Women Engineers.
Courtney Fasca is an Electrical Engineering major at Drexel University. She's from Leesburg, VA but lives in Richmond. While she is also a fencer, she is a member of the Drexel Smart House organization and the Society of Women Engineers. She loves reading. She wants to go into working with energy and power generation or transmission.

In the future she plans specifically to go into bridge structure or some sort of traffic engineering. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, puzzles, and enjoying time with her friends and family.

Dr. Scoles has been with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department since 1982. He teaches courses on solid state physics aspects of semiconductors and devices; analog, digital, and mixed signal circuit design and analysis; and laboratory courses integrating electrical and computer engineering concepts. He is interested in research in alternative energy and electronics applications. He is also interested in engineering education, including curricular and educational assessment.
Dr. Scoles is a member of IEEE, Sigma Xi, ASEE, and IMAPS. He received the ASEE Dow Outstanding Young Faculty Award (Middle-Atlantic Region) in 1987, the Drexel University Martin Kaplan Distinguished Faculty Award in 1998, and the College of Engineering Faculty Achievement Award for Service Accomplishment in 2001.
